itc Promotes Education for SCNU Affiliated Dongguan School

With a total investment of 1.2 billion RMB, the South China Normal University Affiliated Dongguan Chang'an School covers an area of 73,838.34 square meters and offers 90 classes for elementary and junior high school students.

Following the philosophy, itc designed a comprehensive smart campus solution centered on smart education and intelligent management.

Immersive Auditorium

itc's national senior tuning engineers conducted an in-depth acoustic analysis of the large auditorium, designing an integrated solution that includes immersive sound system, professional sound system, stage lighting, stage machinery, audiovisual and lighting control platform, and LED displays.

For the professional audio system, itc introduced a self-developed immersive sound system with advanced UWB positioning tracking and WFS wave field synthesis algorithms. Combined with lighting tracking technology, the system achieves sound and lighting following movement, merging auditory and visual experiences seamlessly and immersing the audience.

For stage effects, itc audiovisual and lighting control platform simplifies operation through PRS Music Emotion Analysis and AI automation. The platform intelligently synchronizes lighting, displays, and stage mechanics based on music waveforms, enabling professional-grade performances with one click. This significantly reduces operational errors during events.

itc acoustic design team optimized the auditorium's sound environment. Before renovation, the auditorium’s reverberation time reached 2.5 s, muddying speech intelligibility. itc applied targeted absorption on sidewalls, rear walls, and stage areas, reducing reverberation to 1.2 s, meeting hall standards, and significantly improving clarity for crisp, natural sound.

Smart Campus

Beyond the auditorium, itc deployed high-quality audiovisual systems in multifunctional halls, meeting rooms, and gymnasiums to meet diverse learning and activity needs. itc campus PA system delivers high-fidelity audio for daily announcements, classes, and extracurricular activities, fostering a positive educational atmosphere and enriching campus culture.

itc stage lighting system employs energy-efficient LED fixtures with dynamic color options, blending aesthetics and functionality. Combined with professional audio equipment and LED screens, it creates immersive audiovisual experiences for performances and events, broadening students' creative horizons.
